Happy Thanksgiving from Chancellor Strom
November 25, 2025
Dear Rutgers Health community,
As we approach Thanksgiving, I find myself reflecting on the extraordinary privilege it has been to serve as Chancellor of Rutgers Health. In my years here, I have been continually inspired and deeply grateful for every single person who makes up this remarkable community.
Whether you teach and mentor the next generation of health leaders, care for patients with skill and compassion, advance knowledge through groundbreaking research, support our operations with diligence, or pursue your studies with curiosity and purpose, each of you strengthens Rutgers Health in meaningful ways. Your work touches lives well beyond our campuses, improving the health and well-being of people across New Jersey and far beyond. I am profoundly thankful for the spirit with which you do your work every day.
As you gather with family and friends, I hope this holiday brings you rest, connection, and joy. Please take time to recharge and to celebrate the people and moments that matter most. Thank you for everything you do. I wish you and your loved ones a warm, healthy, and relaxing Thanksgiving.
With gratitude,
Brian L. Strom, MD, MPH
Chancellor, Rutgers Health
Executive Vice President for Health Affairs, Rutgers University
