Rutgers Health Brand Name Announcement
July 18, 2023
Dear colleagues,
As we commemorate the 10th anniversary of our establishment as Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences (RBHS) this month, I am writing to share an exciting development that marks a significant milestone in our evolution. After a decade of exceptional growth and achievements, we are thrilled to announce that RBHS and its mission areas of teaching, research, clinical care, and service will be known collectively as Rutgers Health, effective today, July 18.
This change to a singular, simplified brand name reflects our continued commitment to excellence. It answers our strategic plan’s call to adopt a single, unique identity that unites the Rutgers health mission. Moreover, it aligns with our vision to provide innovative and comprehensive health-related educational programs and services to meet the evolving needs of our students, faculty, staff, trainees, and the broader New Jersey community.
During the past 10 years, we have established ourselves as a leader in academic health and we are proud of the impact we’ve made at Rutgers, across New Jersey, and throughout the world. Under the Rutgers Health brand, we will build upon this foundation while embracing new opportunities for growth, collaboration, and innovation as we continue to make the world well.
In the coming days and weeks, you will start to notice the transition to our new brand across various communication channels, including our website and social media platforms. Our team is working to ensure a smooth transition, and we appreciate your patience and support during this period. Keep in mind that Rutgers Health is our brand name and the change will not affect our official name, which will remain Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences, as referred to by the legislation that created it.
We are incredibly grateful for the support and contributions of all those who have been a part of our journey thus far. Together as Rutgers Health, we will continue to shape the future of health professions education and make a lasting difference in the lives of individuals and communities.
Thank you for your continued support.
