Town Halls for Presidential Search
December 3, 2024
Dear Rutgers Health Community,
As the Rutgers Board of Governors embarks on a national search for our university’s 22nd president, I urge everyone at Rutgers Health to take part in shaping the future of our institution. This is an important opportunity to ensure our collective voice is heard, particularly as we navigate the evolving landscape of health care and research.
The search, co-chaired by Amy L. Towers, Chair of the Board of Governors, and Alberto Cuitiño, Dean of the School of Engineering, is supported by WittKieffer, a leading executive search firm. Their goal is to identify a visionary leader by summer 2025.
To gather input from across the university, the Presidential Search Committee is hosting a series of in-person and virtual town halls. I encourage you to attend one of the following sessions:
|
New Brunswick |
Newark |
Camden |
|
Friday, December 6 |
Monday, December 9 |
Tuesday, December 10 |
Your participation is crucial to help identify the qualities and characteristics that will define Rutgers’ next leader. For more details, including additional opportunities to provide feedback, please visit the presidential search website or email your thoughts directly to the committee at presidentialsearch@rutgers.edu.
Let’s come together to help shape the next chapter of Rutgers’ legacy.
Sincerely,
Brian L. Strom, MD, MPH
Chancellor, Rutgers Health
Executive Vice President for Health Affairs, Rutgers University
